So being a Metallica fan, of course I bought the GH Metallica.
I have the Rock Band set for Wii figuring that I would be able to use my RB equipment on GH Metallica.
Nope, I was wrong. Now I have to buy more equipment just to play the #$%#^ game. ARGH!

That is sooo bogus. I guess they see it as a way to make you buy more peripherals for your system. Which really sucks, when you look at the price of some of that stuff.
( I liked GH Metallica too, thought it was pretty awesome.) You can't even use a controller for the guitar on Xbox360 like you could fo rthe rest of the GH games. At least a regular gaming mic worked.

It's only wii that you have to get the separate equipment. playstation and Xbox both are cross compatible. it stinks to say the least.

On the previous Hero games, you could use a controller to play the songs. (I'm actually WAY better with the controller than with a guitar) When I rented Metallica, it WOULD NOT let me use it. And that's when I had to go out and buy one.

wow that is stupid. i guess i didn't realize it wasn't cross compatible with the wii either. good to know however since i own one. ive resisted buying GH for a long time due to the fact id know id get addicted too easily lol
